Casting Call for CareSource Military & Veterans

MILSTOCK.| is looking for 12 Active Duty DOD Service Members and Veterans along with their families to participate in stylized photoshoots for Armed Forces Insurance. These shoots will take place in the Summerville, SC and surrounding areas.

MILSTOCK.| has recently partnered with CareSource Military & Veterans—a new TRICARE program—to create authentic visual content that reflects the diversity and strength of today’s military families. I am currently casting service members and veterans as well as their families (between the ages of 35–55) for a stock photography shoot. This project will take place in Summerville, South Carolina, and surrounding areas, including MCAS Beaufort Columbia, SC and everywhere in between.

Images from this session will be used in CareSource’s commercial marketing efforts. All final marketing assets will be owned by CareSource and used to support outreach for the CareSource Military & Veterans program.

OUR MISSION IS TO PHOTOGRAPH 12 FAMILIES - 5 SPOTS HAVE ALREADY BEEN FILLED WITHIN THE NEXT 1.5 MONTHS!

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a broad representation of today’s military community and welcome interest from families of all racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.

At this time, we are especially seeking military families of color to ensure the diversity of our imagery accurately reflects the communities we serve.

Participants may include:

• Active Duty, Retired, Medically Retired, or Honorably Discharged members of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, or Space Force.

• Military families, including spouses, partners, and children

• Households with service or working dogs (non-aggressive breeds only).

Project Details

• Photos will be captured in and around participants’ homes. Clean, naturally lit spaces are preferred.

• Sessions will be scheduled during weekends or weekday evenings over the next 3–4 weeks.

• Each photo session will last approximately 30–45 minutes.

• Each participating family will receive: A $300 Visa Gift Card as a thank-you for their time

Appearance Guidelines

To maintain authenticity and consistency with Department of Defense guidelines, all participants must:

• Active Duty service members must be in compliance with current DoD grooming and uniform standards, including height/weight regulations. Facial hair must be clean-shaven or neatly groomed according to regulation. Wear sterile uniforms with no name tapes, patches, or rank insignia (OCPs - if active duty).

• Veterans may wear respectful, non-branded indicators of their service—such as a “veteran” T-shirt or military hat. Neatly trimmed beards are permitted for veterans.

• All participants will be required to sign a model release for CareSource.
